FirstRate5 Software Courses - Live (Online) Training

SmartRate offers training in FirstRate5 Software online.

Participants attending these courses will learn how to model single storey and two storey houses and units. The modelling of complex buildings and non standard materials is covered.

The Modules run from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Friday afternoons.

NB. Time is Australian East Coast time (Daylight Saving Time when applicable).

2018 Schedule

  • 9 February - Software Introduction
  • 16 February - Single Storey House
  • 23 February - Two Storey House
  • 2 March - Units / Class 2 Buildings
  • 9 March - Duplex / Dual Occupancy Buildings
  • 16 March - Split Level Buildings

There will be an opportunity for participants to ask questions.

The course is ideal for new entrants to the profession.

Modules can be completed individually and attract CPD points recognised by ABSA & BDAV for existing assessors.

Each module costs $330 (including GST), a total of $1980 for the complete course.

Course assessment includes classroom based activities and assignment work.

Upon successful completion of all 6 modules participants will receive a Statement of Completion for  that states they are competent using the software and satisfy the requirements to practice as a House Energy Rater.
